this same thing happened to me last year on my 14th birthday. I had two on my arm. The docs poked it too. it hurttttt lol

I was waiting for more of an explosion of matter…and then for you ladies to scream in horror and delight as your friend was being drained of the evil pus. I honestly think I am pretty damn good at removing those…..I have never personally had one on my own body….but it does take a certain tactile intuitiveness in knowing how and where to squeeze and massage it properly for the blast-off sequence. I’ve removed things of that nature for others more than once…crazy how big they can get!

you guys realise that when you wipe the pus off the core retracts back into the boil. just pop it fast and easy

I have one of those on my thigh. But I’m just using a warm washcloth to press on it for a while every day. Its popping and draining on its own and a hell of a lot safer.

No need. I did the garlic remedy and it’s working great. The infection is almost completely gone!

I would say to definatly go to the doctor, you never know how serious your infection is and I have had friends almost die from staph for leaving it untreated, plus if you bring a camera it might make for a kick ass you tube video.

Shit, I think I have my first staph infection. I don’t want to have to go to the hospital, but if it doesn’t improve in a couple days here, I’ll probably have to. This sucks. Can’t believe I got it. I haven’t even been around that many people lately.

the red area around the skin actually is cellulitis from poking and prodding but hey i did the same thing and wound up at the hospital too

mine was so much worse i took out the plug by myself not numbed and im only 12 before my vacation i took it out it was bleeding like crazy so we wen to ohio hospital i went to ohio for cedar point and they had to stuff it for 3 days was not that bad when it was all ovefr
